Categories of Membership

A. Active Membership - only active or inactive Building Officials, Inspectors, Planners and Officials of a Municipality or of the State of Maine and its subdivision are eligible for active membership.

B. Subscribing Membership - only such persons as are approved by the Board of Directors are eligible for subscribing membership, for example: Architects, Engineers, Building Materials Representatives and other similar persons. Subscribing members shall not have a vote.

C. Honorary Membership - a person meriting the gratitude of the Association may be eligible for honorary membership. An honorary member shall not have a vote.
